Branding for ADM events

Client:
Arcadia Inc., St Petersburg, Russia

Scope:
Logo design, event brand identity, participant collateral, signage, print materials

Role:
Sole designer — concept through production, across all editions

Duration:
Multiple editions, 2015–2021

The Brief

Azov Developers Meetup (ADM) was an annual software development conference organised by Arcadia Inc. in Taganrog. As Arcadia’s in-house marketing designer, I created the event identity for its first edition in 2015 and designed the print and digital materials for each subsequent edition. I also supervised printing and on-site production.

Identity

The original identity paired the lowercase ‘a’ from Arcadia’s logo with the event name and a wave motif. The teal palette connected ADM to its organiser, while the year marked each edition.

For 2019, I reworked the ‘a’ into a splash-like form and paired it with heavier, darker typography. The teal palette maintained continuity with earlier editions, while the year became a separate element below the event name.

Event Materials

Participant folder

A gatefold folder for the 2018 edition, with the original mark on the cover, a teal-and-white interior pattern and a pocket for loose inserts.

Programme insert

A separate sheet placed inside the folder, using two columns to organise parallel tracks by time and distinguish sessions from speaker names.

Outcome

ADM ran across multiple editions between 2015 and 2021. The identity remained consistent across event materials, with the 2019 refresh updating the design while preserving its connection to earlier editions.
